This is a Disgrace!! #smh
I found our how much the person in charge of united way was payed. It is a disgrace. If you go on line you can find out how much all of the organizations pay the people in charge.
You might want to keep this in mind if you make any donations this year:
* The American Red Cross President and CEO Marsha J. Evans
salary for the year was $651,957 plus expenses
* The United Way President Brian Gallagher receives a $375,000 base salary along with numerous expense benefits.
* UNICEF CEO Caryl M. Stern receives $1,200,000 per year (100k per month) plus all expenses including a ROLLS ROYCE . Less than 5 cents of your donated dollar goes to the cause.
* The Salvation Army’s Commissioner Todd Bassett receives a salary of only $13,000 per year (plus housing) for managing this $2 billion dollar organization. 96 percent of donated dollars go to the
cause.
* The American Legion National Commander receives a $0.00 zero salary. Your donations go to help Veterans and their families and youth!

Rapper Heavy D dies after collapsing outside his home
Hip-hop legend Heavy D died Tuesday afternoon after collapsing on the walkway outside his Beverly Hills home, according to authorities. He was pronounced dead Tuesday in the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. It was reported by The Times’ Andrew Blanksteinthat Heavy D may have died of complications related to pneumonia, authorities said.

1. Contempt: Anyone who shows contempt to others in relationships prevents problems from being solved, and creates more trouble by making their partner feel bad through sarcasm and putting them down. No one wants to be involved with someone like that.
2. Criticism: It’s normal to complain about the odd thing your partner does, but criticism feeds negative vibes and focuses on flaws you see in their personality.
3. Stonewalling: By shutting down and refusing to give feedback to your partner on anything she says or does, problems will only escalate. Relationships that work require communication.
4. Defensiveness: This behavior increases conflict rather than defusing situations.
